Starting a Quilt

I am so excited.  A friend from work started a quilting group so I decided to get out and do something with the girls.  We are starting a log cabin pattern using a "jelly roll" of fabric.  Mine is inspired by Paris.

  I love Paris so I am excited to see how this quilt turns out.  We only cut out the pieces this week so I will have to work on sewing the blocks next time.  My favorite part of the day was seeing all the other girls fabric and spending time talking with them.  I'm so glad I decided to go to the group.
